Hong Kong saw a record high of 67 new Covid-19
infections on Thursday, with more than half untraceable, health authorities said.
The number is the highest since January, when the pandemic emerged in the city. The previous record was on March 27 when the city saw 65 new cases, mostly imported, in a single day.
Among the 63 local infections, 35 are from an unknown source, continuing a worrying trend. The latest additions took the city’s total to 1,655 cases, with 10 related fatalities.
