News that has spur the buying interest of Construction Related stocks
- Since PH took over the government, there are very little news on mega infrastructure due to the austerity measures that have taken place in order to reduce the national debt.
- But guess what, the old splurging government is back and thus reactivate the spending mode to spur the economy back.
HSR revival is rather a Mystery, ECRL? slowly but surely.
- After the rerouting of ECRL in April 2019, the speculation that took place is that the government will start to award contractors in 2020 taking into consideration of (Preliminary study by contractor (3-4 month), Tender submission (2-3 month), Tender report from consultant (1-2 month) & Final negotiation and award (1-2 month).
- Note that the Blue line represent the old track while the Red line represent the new track which will pass by Negeri Sembilan.
Olympia: Hidden golden Land of Jelebu
- Many did not notice that this company Olympia do own more than 1400 acre of land in Jelebu and thus might potentially be benefited from 2 ways, namely the acquisition of land like what we seen in Eden Inc Berhad, or the appreciation of land value post completion of ECRL.
- With the unprofitable and bleak future of the company, Tan Sri Yap is buying? Sounds fishy? Unless Tan Sri Yap knows that the company will somehow benefit from something?
- Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay is one of the shareholders in Olympia
Technical Analysis
- Olympia closed with a solid marubozu candle and good volume which indicates good buying interest.
- Deem breakout from 0.100 resistance, Olympia will continue to challenge 0.125 and 0.135 resistance which indicates a potential upside of 25-35%
- Support will be at 0.085 which indicates a potential downside of -15% which is a good risk and reward
