Solarvest Holdings Bhd will construct solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems for 15 stores of a hypermarket chain in Malaysia under a RM29.20mil contract.
KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Holdings Bhd will construct solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems for 15 stores of a hypermarket chain in Malaysia under a RM29.20mil contract.
It said on Thursday its unit Solarvest Energy Sdn Bhd had entered into an engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning agreement with NE Suria Satu Sdn Bhd (NESS).
The agreement is for Solarvest to provide engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the power generation system for the 15 stores with the cumulative system capacity of approximately 10,614 kilowatt peaks (kWp).
Solarvest said NESS's core activity is developing and operating solar PV power generation systems. The major shareholders of NESS are Petronas Power Sdn Bhd and Nefin Energy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
Petronas Power is a unit of Petroliam Nasional Bhd while Nefin Energy is a subsidiary of Nefin Group, a bespoke solar developer and asset management company with a focus on solar PV.
