KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary SCIB International (Labuan) Ltd has accepted three construction jobs worth a total sum of US$200.45mil (RM864.54mil).
One of the contracts entails the construction of 20 villas in Ruwi in Oman for Revenue International LLC, which is expected to be completed on April 4, 2021.
A second contract involves the construction of two units of service centres in Al Khor in Quatar.
The award by Sky View Trading and Contraction WLL is scheduled for completion on April 3, 2021.
Meanwhile the third contract was secured from Interceptor Trading and Contracting WLL for the construction of 18 five-storey buildings and related structures in Doha, Qatar.
The project is targeted for completion on March 31, 2021.
"The contracts secured are expected to increase the net assets of SCIB and its group of companies for the financial year ending 31 December 2020 and 31 December 2021.
"The contracts secured are expected to contribute positively to SCIB Group’s earnings over the duration of the contracts," said the group.
