Progress
CPECC officially announced that the construction of the power plant has entered testing phase effective 1st October 2019.
All 4 Boilers have successfully carried out hydro tests
Both turbines have completed installation of turbine rotors.
1st coal arrived
Boilers 1 & 2 have completed Chemical cleaning.
Boiler 1 has successfully completed steam blow test on 20th Jan 2020
Boiler 2 should have completed steam blow test (waiting for confirmation)
The Unit 1 of the power plant is on schedule to commence commercial operation in Mid 2020 which is about 6 months ahead of deadline.
