The first appearance of antimicrobial gloves is patented back in
2005....but this is probably more applicable to natural latex rubber
back then as I believed nitrile gloves was yet to be revolutionized to
have the same elasticity as natural latex back then. Click photo 2 or

Ever since nitrile began to gain popularity due to innovation in elasticity and tensile strength probably around the turning point in 2009-2010, Ansell launched Antimicrobial (leaching) Nitrile Gloves back in 2012. (photo 3)

Ever since then, Hartalega innovated a new breakthrough to have it
"Non-leaching", from what I understand is by immobilization of
antimicrobial proteins on gloves, which is effective in reducing
bacteria developing antibiotic resistance as compared to leaching
antimicrobial polymers.. .
So this should be more appropriate to be perceived as the first "non-leaching nitrile" instead of the first antimicrobial gloves world.

It's impressive that Hartalega once again become the leader in innovation, and interesting to see if other players like Top Glove, Kossan and Comfort eventually tend to follow the foot steps?

Considering the fact that "Non-leaching Antimicrobial Gloves" already existed before back in 2005 (mainly for natural latex), how will other players respond and catch up in competitiveness?
