SHARES in Ekovest Bhd (fundamental: 1.8/3, valuation: 1.4/3), which triggered our momentum algorithm yesterday, closed nine sen or 7.7% higher at RM1.26.
The group has awarded an RM5.95 million contract to supply generator sets for its EkoCheras commercial development in Cheras to WCM Power Sdn Bhd.
On Feb 24, it said its wholly-owned subsidiary Ekovest Construction Sdn Bhd had been awarded the contract to supply generator sets for Towers H, J, E, A and N, and the mall of the EkoCheras development.
The contract is expected to be completed in November.
The stock saw some 22.02 million shares traded, exceeding its 200-day average volume of 2.17 million shares. It is currently trading at 0.77 times its book value.
