PPB Group Bhd's net profit increased to RM341.02 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 (4QFY15) from RM281.43 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to RM1.09 billion from RM933.21 million, according to PPB, the businesses of which, include flour milling and oil palm plantation.
Full-year net profit rose to RM1.05 billion from RM916.78 million a year earlier on higher revenue at RM4.05 billion versus RM3.7 billion.
PPB proposed a dividend of 17 sen a share for 4QFY15, bringing full-year dividends to 25 sen a share.
AirAsia Bhd reported a net profit of RM554.2 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 versus a net loss of RM428.51 million a year earlier. Budget airline AirAsia said revenue was higher at RM2.17 billion compared to RM1.48 billion.
Full-year net profit rose substantially to RM540.96 million from RM82.84 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to RM6.3 billion from RM5.42 billion.
AirAsia X Bhd posted a net profit of RM201.59 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 from a net loss of RM168.53 million a year earlier. Revenue was higher at RM853.95 million compared to RM816.87 million.
Full-year net loss narrowed to RM360.23 million from a net loss of RM519.44 million a year earlier. Revenue rose to RM3.06 billion from RM2.94 billion.
Sunway Bhd's net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 fell to RM214.68 million from RM303.79 million a year earlier. Revenue rose to RM1.4 billion from RM1.19 billion, according to the construction and real estate entity.
For the full year, Sunway's net profit was lower at RM732.43 million compared to RM734.01 million a year earlier. Revenue fell to RM4.45 billion from RM4.56 billion.
Sunway proposed a dividend of six sen a share for 4QFY15, bringing full-year dividends to 37 sen a share.
Mah Sing Group Bhd’s net profit grew to RM113 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 from RM95.48 million a year earlier. Property developer Mah Sing said revenue fell to RM773.14 million from RM843.95 million.
For the full year, Mah Sing's net profit rose to RM386.68 million from RM356.5 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to RM3.11 billion from RM2.9 billion.
The company proposed a dividend of 6.5 sen per share for 4QFY15.
