Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 range is going to anger customers in two distinct ways, but the new Galaxy Note 10+ flagship has been tipped to do something very special to win them back. And now it has just been confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ spotted in the wild

With only a week to go before the official launch, the Galaxy Note 10+ has suddenly been spotted in the wild on two separate occasions and it confirms the very best thing about Samsung’s redesign: the stunningly small bezels surrounding its truly massive screen. And the combination is something which breaks new boundaries.

Thanks to precise renders, earlier this week (which these new photos confirm) we know the Galaxy Note 10+ will have a class-leading screen-to-body ratio of 92.5%. This is far in excess of “bezel-less” iPhone XS (82.9%), iPhone XS Max (84.4%) and even the notch-less OnePlus 7 Pro (88.1%), while it also dwarfs its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 9 (83.4%).

Furthermore, these tiny bezels may just save the Galaxy Note 10+ from its oversized 6.75-inch display by keeping the body as compact as possible. Note fans do love a big screen but seeing Samsung push it close to a size previously reserved for tablets, also made this upgrade essential. So, while I previously had my doubts, I think Samsung has pulled it off.

The second sighting of Samsung's Galaxy Note 10+

That said, there are still reservations about the new Notes. For a range famed for its do-it-all abilities, this year the Galaxy Note 10 will drop microSD expandable storage and both it and the Note 10+ will do the unthinkable for many in removing the headphone jack.

As such, with exciting leaks already breaking for the Galaxy S11 (a phone heralded as “a new beginning” for Samsung), there will be questions for anyone not wedded to the S Pen about whether the Note 10 line-up is for them.

But one thing is now for certain: looking at the Galaxy Note 10+, it is going to turn heads like no other.
