In Story of BIOOSMO - Part 1, we mention that BIOOSMO diversify its core business to hotel & resort business through buying 75% stake in Intra Magnum Sdn Bhd (IMSB) from Impiana Group. After the deal, BIOOSMO and Impiana will hold 75% and 25% stake of IMSB respectively.
What BIOOSMO will get from the deal :-
1. Allow BIOOSMO to leverage on Impiana core competence and experiences in the hospitality industry.
2. Long term recurring income stream through IMSB business and operation contribute positively to the future earnings.
3. Provide BIOOSMO an avenue to expand its drinkingg water business to Impiana hotels and resorts.
What are the business of Intra Magnum Sdn Bhd (IMSB) ?
1. Manage 3 hotels :- Impiana Cherating, Impiana Tioman and Impiana Ipoh.
2. Development consultant for the development of Impiana Resort & Residences Cherating, Impiana Private Villas Tioman and Impiana Pangkor Hotel & Resort. Estimated combined gross development value (GDV) for Impiana Cherating is around RM300 Million. This will translate into gross development profit of RM50 Million.
