YNHPROP (3158) - Dr Yu ups stake in YNH Property

KUALA LUMPUR (April 13): YNH Property Bhd chairman Dr Yu Kuan Chon has acquired more shares in the company, while his brother Datuk Yu Kuan Huat disposed shares through off-market trade.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia today showed Kuan Chon had acquired a total of 1.51 million shares in YNH (fundamental: 0.6; valuation: 1.6) in the open market from April 8 to 10.
He bought the shares in three blocks of 70,000 units, 852,500 units and 585,900 units each, during the three-day period.
Meanwhile, Kuan Huat disposed 1.81 million shares off-market in two blocks of 1.49 million and 317,000 each.
As at April 10, Kuan Chon’s direct interest in the property developer amounted to 14.47%, while indirect interest amounted to 18.18%.
Meanwhile, Kuan Huat’s direct and indirect interest amounted to 14.33% as at April 7.
YNH's share price has been on the upward trend since March 26, rising from RM1.83 to close unchanged at RM1.94 today. Its market capitalisation stood at RM796.85 million.
