MPAY (0156) - ManagePay Systems gets BNM approval to issue electronic money

KUALA LUMPUR: Managepay Systems Bhd has received the letter of approval from Bank Negara Malaysia to issue electronic money (e-money) via the proposed online wallet (MPAY Balance) and prepaid card (MPAY MasterCard).
The MPAY Balance and MPAY MasterCard comes with a respective wallet limit of RM10,000 per account holder, it said in filing to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday.
ManagePay shall start issuing the MPAY Balance and MPAY MasterCard within one year from the date of Bank Negara’s letter which was Feb 18.
