Trading ideas: Dialog, Petronas Gas, SILK, IJM Corp
KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Dialog Group, Petronas Gas, SILK Holdings and IJM Corp to see trading interest on Monday amid a cautious market.
The research house said Dialog and Petronas Gas have teamed up to develop a RM2.7bil LNG regasification plant in Pengerang, Johor.
As for Silk Holdings and IJM Corp., the former’s bondholders approved the sale of highway operator to the latter for RM395mil.
Last Friday, US stocks were little changed on Friday as investors tracked the price of oil and after October retail sales were just above expectations, along with a November jump in consumer confidence. European shares closed mostly flat to lower as investors weighed better-than-expected euro zone growth data against falling commodity prices.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI closed down two points or 0.11% on Friday to 1,813.79.
“The benchmark index is expected to continue to trade sideways with negative bias this week in view of weak market sentiment and absence of fresh leads,” JF Apex Research said. - The Star
